Modulus was a design and engineering challenge to myself, to create a new physical way to display digits using two of the same shape rotating to align in ways that reveal hidden numbers within the abstract lines. Something unique from the seven segment display, flip clock, or other numeric displays.
It currently is only one digit and functions as a countdown timer, but plans are being made to make a full sized wall clock integrating this idea in the future.
The entire enclosure, circuitry, and software is custom designed and made with acrylic, stepper motors, and an Arduino.
